Great news - i have customised my canoe with the help of Stella McCartney. It is now adorned with diamante and embellished with the most stylish designs of the like never seen before. Now MUCH more suitable for ladylike mademoiselles and madames and will look almost regal wending its way down the slope to the finishing school where Jean will be waiting with freshly prepared aperitifs and cucumber sandwiches....

i am SO glad Stella helped me out... i was starting to become afraid, yes VERY afraid of what Barbara might say if she thought i was leading the other ladies astray.... ;)

Oooh, you don`t want to be leading us astray, Lizzie!! You`ll get a reputation!!

I quite fancy a spot of canoeing - will there be diamante life-jackets as well? It`s always best to be prepared, as you never know what Doreen and Jean will get up to. Strictly between you and me, Doreen is not as ladylike as she thinks she is.

Canoes are all right for the likes of you lot, but I'll be bringing the QE2 AND her crew - towing it with my teeth, of course!

Well, I'll be accompanying Jean on the QE2 with my silk (not satin, Liz, so 80s!) and pearls................and my champagne and Belgian chocolates (well, if the children haven't eaten them!!)

In fact I am beginning to feel that Jean and myself (and possibly Doreen although not too sure) are actually TOO refined for finishing school.............

The QE2?? And her crew?? Any ship that Jean goes on board should come with a warning...................................dare we mention the drugs?? I mean, we`re not just talking wacky cakes here, you know..................

Lizzie - I`m seriously worried now that you are coming under the influence of the more risque members of our happy band. You need to be really strong to resist. Like me.

No! Not piddly drugs! It was even reported in the Daily Mail as well as the broadsheets. As far as we, on the forum, were aware Jean and Gwenda were arrested when they left the last cruise ship that they were on. Don't tell them that I told you though!

OHHHH that, why didn't you say so, Eleanor? Oh nevermind, they'll be fine when they charm the policemen and I can always send down the firemen to pick them up and bring them back to my house for a party, OOPS I meant REST....

Very tranquil here indeed!

They`ve got a record you know, Amanda - they`re banned from all cruise lines now : they`ve got a sort of cruising ASBO.

I'm VERY disappointed that you have thought fit to bring up the subject of those drugs yet again. It's pure jealousy on your part - I know how much you hated seeing us plastered all over the papers. Gwenda was MOST upset when they didn't strip search her! I propose a short cruise for us all - maybe a four day booze cruise?

WHAT..... WHAT....., is going on here now? No sooner have I turned my back and I find all sorts going on. Now as for talk about elicit substances I will not tolerate anything of the like.... Ladies it will be champagne, vodka, pernod and red wine only, and chocolate truffles for Amanda and I.

May I remind you, that if we are now going on a cruise it will be evening wear only of the finest couture. Be WARNED you will be FRISKED before going aboard...... and there will be no hiding in your BRIDGET JONES's either...

Yippee! Great idea Jean! Shame that you have this cruise ASBO but I have the seeds of a plan to get you aboard. Now lets get our heads together girls. Where are you Mary? You usually have a plan which is fun if nothing else. What about using this canoe that Doreen was sitting in the midst of for some obscure reason to smuggle her on board? The best part is that we won't have to pay for her. lylie are you up for this cruise? Can't have you missing out again.

Eleanor x

ps, did I see Kathleen warning Lizzie about the 'risque' members of the forum as if she wasn't one? Lizzie, she started this going out lark - something to do with exercising her snake or was it the snake exercising Kathleen? It'll come back to me, I haven't been the same since Amsterdam!
